Maria Della Salute (Our Lady of Health and
Salvation) is one of the highlights of Venetian architecture.�
It's great dome sits at the entrance to the Grand Canal and is one
of the city's most remarkable skyline features.� The church was
built after a 1630 plague as a thanks to the Virgin Mary for saving
the city.� The church houses fine sculptures and paintings.
The church is open daily from 9am-12pm and 3pm-6:30pm.� Phone
